I’m so excited to introduce you to the Summer Sweetheart Sweater in the June issue of I Like Knitting! I love this sweater, and I’m actually knitting another one at the moment. Finally my obsession with sweater dresses and wiggle dresses and knitting collide! I’m so happy to introduce to you the Cozy Vintage Dress, published in the December issue of I Like Knitting.   It’s fitted, it’s a modified rib, it has a zipper – I’m pretty sure it’s perfect! 😉 Check out my video where I gush all about my inspiration and then explain sizes and materials: Size: Finished Bust Size 32 (36, 40, 44, 48)” to fit bust 34… Read more »

(I know, I know, what a surprise…) But stick with me because this sweater is all about texture. Knit with a Malabrigo’s worsted… Read more »

I am so excited to introduce this tank top to you guys! It’s part of Knitty’s Spring + Summer 2016 collection, and my tank top is the surprise for the issue, which technically came out a little over a month ago. Surprise!   Lake Diamond was inspired by the hot summer days spent chasing a cool breeze. A lacy, cotton tank top is perfect for summer. The open lacework is stylish and will keep you cool, whether you’re spending a day… Read more »

I think everyone can agree that handmade gifts are amazing, and most knitters try to get in as much knitting as they can for as many people as they can. I know some knitters go big and try to make matching hats and scarves or socks – or even stockings! I love my friends and family, but I don’t have time for that. I’m all about the small stocking stuffer knit gifts. And I’ve always lamented the fact that cozies… Read more »

You might have noticed that I quietly released a new pattern a few weeks ago. Siren Seafoam is a fun, cropped beach top (22” long) designed to cover you up, but keep you cool when you’re out during the hot summer months. The top is knit in the round from the bottom up, with a simple lace repeat for the design. The pattern is written out with instructions, no chart. My quiet little release was picked up by Buzzfeed as… Read more »
